Residents add vehicles from their own ParkingPass account. Share these steps when a resident asks how to register another vehicle.

Who can do this: Residents.

Before you start

• The resident needs the vehicle's license plate, make, model, and color.

• Some communities require documents, like a vehicle registration. Residents are prompted to upload them if needed.

Steps

1. Sign in at app.parkingpass.com.

2. Click My Vehicles in the left sidebar, or click Update My Vehicles at the top of the dashboard.

3. Click + Add.

4. Enter the vehicle details.

5. Upload any documents you're prompted for.

6. Submit the request.

What happens next

The vehicle appears in the resident's vehicle list. Depending on your community's rules, it may show as under review until a property manager approves it. Property managers see the request in the New Vehicle Applications widget on their dashboard.

• Review new vehicle requests promptly so residents aren't left waiting to park. See Additional vehicle requests.

• Each unit has a maximum number of vehicles. See Update maximum number of vehicles for a unit.

• Residents should keep their vehicle information current to avoid violations.
