Setting up Stripe Connect
Last updated: November 4, 2026
Set up Stripe Connect so your community can receive Revenue Share payouts. Until setup is complete, your community still earns revenue but receives no payouts.
Who can do this: Property managers at communities enrolled in Revenue Share.
Before you start
Have your business and banking details ready: legal business name, EIN or SSN, and bank routing and account numbers.
Expect identity verification. Stripe may ask for more documents, depending on your business type.
Steps
Go to Revenue Share → Stripe Connect Center in the left sidebar.
Follow the prompts to start Stripe's setup.
Enter the business and banking information Stripe asks for.
Complete identity verification.
Wait for Stripe to approve your account.
What happens next
Once Stripe approves your account, it's linked to your community. Payouts are sent automatically on your payout schedule. See How Revenue Share payouts and statements work.
Important notes
Stripe runs the setup and verification, not ParkingPass. For questions about Stripe's requirements, see Stripe's documentation or contact Stripe support.
The EIN or SSN you enter is used for tax reporting. See Revenue Share tax FAQs.
To change the bank account later, update it in Stripe Connect Center. Stripe verifies the new account before sending payouts to it.
Troubleshooting
If setup won't complete, open Stripe Connect Center to see what's pending. Stripe usually shows the action it needs, like verifying a business address or uploading ID. Complete it, and Stripe checks again.
If payouts stop unexpectedly, the most common cause is a verification issue. Check Stripe Connect Center for action items.
