Property launch readiness checklist

Last updated: November 4, 2026

Launching a new community in ParkingPass happens in four phases. Your Account Manager handles most of the initial setup during onboarding. Use the phase articles to check that setup, then use this checklist a day or two before launch.

If any item isn't done, resolve it before enforcement starts. Moving your launch date by a few days is usually easier than fixing problems afterward.

Community and team

See How to set up your community and team.

  • Units, vehicle limits, parking rules, and guest settings match what you agreed to during onboarding.

  • You have your community keyword, and it's in your welcome message and on your signs.

  • Every team member has an account and the right role, and has signed in at least once.

  • In Colorado, a contact is ready for real-time tow authorization.

Patrol

See How to set up patrol for a new community.

  • Your patrol partner, or your own patrol team, has confirmed the start date in writing.

  • They know your layout, hotspots, and first-week patrol holds, and have an after-hours contact.

  • Your Do-Not-Tow list is set up, with expiration dates chosen carefully.

Residents

See How to onboard residents to a new community.

  • Current residents have been invited and have received a welcome message.

  • Signs are posted, readable, and meet state and local requirements.

Go-live

  • If you use paid permits, paid guest passes, the Parking Spot Marketplace, or Revenue Share, Stripe Connect setup is complete.
